This Privacy Policy applies to the Sipum mobile application (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

We collect the following categories of data to provide our services and ensure the security of the application:
A. User Identity & Account Data
- Name and Surname: To identify the account owner.
- Birthdate: To verify age compliance (alcohol-related content).
- Position (City, Country, State): To localize your wine and beer experiences.
- Personal Picture (Optional): For user profile customization.
B. Experience Data (User Generated Content)
- Wine & Beer Records: Information about products tasted.
- Images: Up to 4 pictures per wine or beer entry.
C. Technical & Forensic Data
Important: To ensure the security of the platform and for forensic purposes in case of violation of laws or abuse, we automatically collect:
- Mobile Device Information: Model, Manufacturer, Operating System (OS) version.
- Network Information: IP address and connection type.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Service Provision (Contractual Necessity): To allow you to catalog your wines/beers and retrieve your history.
- Security & Legal Compliance (Legitimate Interest): The collection of device and network information is strictly used for forensic purposes to prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activities. This data may be used to cooperate with law enforcement if the App is used for illegal purposes.
- Consent: For optional data (such as your profile picture), you provide consent by uploading the content.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You have full control over your data:
- Manual Deletion: You can delete specific wine/beer entries at any time.
- Full Account Deletion: You can permanently delete all personal information and experience data using the "Delete Account" button found in the App's Settings page. Once executed, this action is irreversible.
Note: Forensic logs (technical data) may be retained for a limited period as required by law for security auditing before being automatically overwritten or anonymized.
5. Sharing of Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party hosting or database providers who process data on our behalf, bound by strict confidentiality agreements (e.g., Cloud Storage providers).
- Legal Obligation: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority to investigate illegal activities or violations of our Terms.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and FADP, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify incorrect or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (Right to be Forgotten).
- Restrict or Object to processing.
- Data Portability (receive a copy of your data).

7. Limitation of Liability
Please Read Carefully:
The Developer of Sipum provides this application "as is". The Developer declines all responsibility for:
- Any misuse of the application by the user.
- Any harm caused to third parties, companies, or legal entities resulting from content uploaded by the user (e.g., photos violating copyright or privacy of others).
- The accuracy of the wine/beer data entered by the user.
- Any data loss due to device failure or network issues.
The user is solely responsible for the content they generate and store within the application.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Revised" date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
